There are a number of ways that you can support us. We are always in need of people to help out with any number of tasks. It doesn't have to be a big commitment, a few hours a week or even a few hours a month will make a big difference to us.
Could you help with looking after the cats in our pens (Bridge of Don area)? They need fed and cleaned out twice a day, and they are always in need of some cuddles! A couple of hours once a week would make a big difference to us and to them. We are currently short of people to help out for a couple of hours in a morning. If you think you might be interested, please email us.
Or how about fostering a cat? We pay all the expenses, you just need to provide the love. Older cats are hard to find homes for, so we like to put them in foster homes, as they could be with us for a while. Mums with a litter of kittens need foster homes too.
We also have a programme of trapping and neutering feral cats. Would you like to be involved with this?
If you are interested in helping out with our cats, please email us or phone (01224) 782207.
Could you spare 3 hours a week to help out in our shop? Or even 3 hours a month? (You get first look at all the goodies that come in!). We are desperately in need of people at the moment for certain mornings/afternoons. If we don't have 2 people in the shop at all times then we must close for health & safety reasons. The whole branch relies completely on our shop for funds. If we don't open, then we cannot rescue cats - it's as simple as that. Could you spare a morning or afternoon once a week, or even once a month to help us out?
If you are interested in helping out with our shop, please email us or phone (01224) 658565.
Or why not have a clear out of your wardrobe or loft? We are always in need of clothes and bric-a-brac for the shop. Please note that we cannot accept electrical items.
If you have your own transport, you could help us transport food and litter to our foster carers. We sometimes need people to transport cats to and from the vets. We also need people to collect donated goods for the shop.
Could you spare an hour here or there for any of these jobs?
If you are interested in helping out with transporting cats or goods, please email us or phone (01224) 705252.
Are you handy with a hammer? We occasionally need a handyman (or woman) for little repair jobs in our shop or at the pens.
We visit every prospective cat owner to discuss the details of cat ownership before they commit themselves. Could you spare one evening a week for this?
If you are interested in helping out with any of these tasks, please email us or phone (01224) 705252.
If all of this sounds like too much work(!), why not donate a few pounds? It will make a big difference to our cats.
This is what your donation could do:-
